 Kolhapur Mahalakshmi is one of the Ashtadas Mahashaktipithas. Her temple is situated at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. She is also known as Ambabai. It is believed that Goddess Sati's Eyes were fallen here.  Legend  According to "Lakshmi Vijaya " and "Karavir Kshetra Mahatmya" She killed the demon Kolasur. Kolasur was her devotee. He meditated her and got supernatural powers . But he became a tyrant. He started to destroy everything. ( because his father was one of the sons of Tarakasura, they were killed before) . So all demigods went to Vishnu and asked for help. Lord vishnu worshipped Adi parashakti. Adi parashakti because complacent and took the form of Ambabai . Then she killed him.   Introduction   Bhramaramba or Bhramari is a form of Adishakti. Her temple is situated at Sri Shailam, in Andhra Pradesh. It is a Shaktipeeth. It belongs to Ashtadas Mahashaktipithas. Her bhairav is Mallikarjun . Iconography  She has two hands. Her face is beautiful. She is circled with Bees .  Legend Once there was a demon named Arun. He was booned that 1-2-3-4-5-legged animals cannot kill him. So he boasted . He attacked to Indra and other demigods . They asked Shiva for help. Shiva and Parvati took Mallikarjun and Bhramari forms. Bees are 6-leged. Those Bees killed him.
