Bhramaramba
Introduction Bhramaramba or Bhramari is a form of Adishakti. Her temple is situated at Sri Shailam, in Andhra Pradesh. It is a Shaktipeeth. It belongs to Ashtadas Mahashaktipithas. Her bhairav is Mallikarjun . Iconography She has two hands. Her face is beautiful. She is circled with Bees . Legend Once there was a demon named Arun. He was booned that 1-2-3-4-5-legged animals cannot kill him. So he boasted . He attacked to Indra and other demigods . They asked Shiva for help. Shiva and Parvati took Mallikarjun and Bhramari forms. Bees are 6-leged. Those Bees killed him.
